Water Analysis
Water needs to be treated to be made safe for swimming, but also to protect your equipment and pool surface. Poor quality water can lead to skin irritation, sore eyes and unpleasant odour. Water can also be quite corrosive and damaging to pool heating systems, pumps and chlorinator equipment. It can also lead to pool surface damage like unsightly staining, calcium deposits or the lifting of tiles from the surface.
Salt chlorination systems tend to increase the PH level as a normal part of the process, if left unchecked the PH can continue to rise making the water unsafe to swim in, if a granular chlorine is used then the PH will decrease which will make the water acidic, again making it unsafe.
